pretty soon I will be switching SB to BB and I had a question about cooling ?     Would a 26'' radiator and two electric fans be enough?  What should I get the thermostat for 160 or 195?

You can get a 3 core on that 26in rad and with two fans you will be set.
I run 180 and 195 thermostats, some cars seem to do better with one or
the other depending on your setup and location.

If you are just worried about temp and not the way it look's? Then a cross flow Aluminum is the way to go. My God, talk about running cool! 426 was hitting 200. Used a friend recore 3 row A/C and down to 170. Dropped in the cross flow, can you say 155?

Does not look right till I look at the temp, then it look's pretty good to me. ;D

I bought a 4 row for the 68 Runner, 22' I think. Cools well with the warmed over 383 in her now, but if I had it all over to do gain, I would have bought 2 of them!

I will add, only thing I own that is stock is the Town Car and the Daytona.

Remember too, that temp rating for your thermostat is not a temp that it tries to hold the car at.  It is the temp where it opens.  Once it opens, that's it.  The warmer ones began to be used by the mfg for emission reasons to let the car get to a warmer temp before trying to cool.

You can find a drop in aluminum cross flow from www.becool.com. You can also order them with the fans, relays, etc. They are fairly spendy but I have heard nothing but good things about them. Good luck  !

$25.00 To have brackets intalled

Mine does not have a Tran's cooler and no lower drain plug. Lower neck is about 4" long and will have one installed.

Look's pretty much like mine, I would have to check on E-bay to see what vender I used.

Like I said, if you worried about looks this is not for you. But all I wanted was cool and I have that.

Here are few PIC, like anyone would think this Charger was stock.

Flex hose is just for brake in and trying to get a idea how long the Satin Less Steel one need to be to clear the blower drive. Need's to be about 2" longer but cheaper this way. Used the same hose on the 426 and keept her cool.

Pretty cool huh, I mean the temp ;) ;D

So the radiator I have now is a 26'' , but it is a stock replacement I believe, just a 2 core.   How many cfs/cfm (whatever it is)  would I be needing to keep a 440 cool ?   800, 1000, 1200, 1500, 1800, 2000?
