My '68 Charger has the end of the shoulder belt that connects to the floor sewn onto the lap belt.   It's sewn about 1 inch behind where the metal end attaches to the belt.     My '68 GTX was the same way.   Did the belts come from the factory that way, or have owners done that so it's easier to fasten the shoulder harness if the two belts are together, as opposed to being separated?

i have seen ones like yours on a bench seat set up , thought that was unusual at the time, but didn't take much notice as to if it looked factory or not , but  others i have seen have been separate.

All of the 68 Chargers I have had, had the shoulder belt male end sewn on the main belt in that same location.

A little hijack.............Does anyone know the length of the single shouldered bolt that secures the seat belt to the roof on a 68 R/T? I have that left to do in my Charger and I'm trying to find the bolts. Thanks, mike
