I'm thinking about picking up a set of 15x10 Weld draglites. What is a recommended backspace for a 1970 Charger with 295/50/15 BFGs?

To answer your question. 5-1/2 back space is needed for a b-body 68' to 70'. When using a 15 x 10 like your wanting. I spoke with Summit Racing, they have them boxed and ready to go also. I was going use the same wheel, but went with magnums 15 x 10.

Hey, you can hate the game but don't hate the player.

dads 69 what back spacing did you get and what size tires. Are you using stock suspension? If it matters, it has stock dana with stock suspension.

I have a stock suspension w/a 8 3/4 rearend. Magnums have the 5 1/2 back space also. Frontend is the same as stock. Front rims are going to be 15 x 8 with 4 3/4 back space I believe. Tires are BFG 275/60/15 rear, front 245/60/15.

I don't suppose anyone has a picture of the wheels in question ?

I'm looking at new wheels myself, but haven't got a clue which way to go. Leaning toward Cragar SS because I can't find anything else nice. They're for a 71 Charger.
Peter. ???

I spoke with ROBERT @ Carlisle tire, (CRAGAR WHEELS),  1-800-398-1367, about custom back spacing on a set of 15 x 10 S/S wheels. He said they can custom make the 15 x 10's with up to 6.750 back spacing.  That works well for me as I want to put 10's on the back of my Coronet and I need 6" of BS.

They will not give you a price at Cragar as they do not retail there. I called SUMMIT and they called Cragar and gave me a price of $166.00 per wheel.  2 weeks to make them.  Not bad at all...

I tried American Racing with the same question. They can only custom build a few wheels, (Nothing I liked).

What they could do added 48 bucks per wheel.  Cragars here we come.................
