I'm almost sure that most of the larger automotive glass shops carry the stuff. the glass shop that I use brought some of that type of molding last week for an Isuzu tilt cab that he was re-installing a glass in for us.

Shouldn't you concentrate on getting a car before piecing together a clone?

billssuperbird

Don't remember the year for sure. Just drop by a decent glass shop. They should be able to help.

thanks rav440 for all your help. as soon as i get this trim i will let you all know. can you tell me if the molding is off the front or back of the isuzu tilt cab.

hotrod98

Front windshield. The earlier Isuzus have the rubber channels similar to the early mopars and don't use a molding, but most of the newer Isuzus are installed using urethane. The urethaned windshields use the plastic molding. I would say that you could just tell them that you're interested in the windshield trim for a 2005 Isuzu tilt cab and be safe. GM tiltcabs such as the W4500 series are identical.
Don't buy it from a dealership since theirs is pre-cut to length where-as the glass shops use the bulk packaged style. They can just cut to length. If you continue to have problems finding it, PM me and I'll check with my glass supplier here. He might ship it to you.
I've seen the chromed style but it looks cheesy. Stay with the black.
