I've seen a lot of various shots of the brake and gas pedals, and I've noticed that some are just the rubber pad, while others have a chrome trim around them. Was this some kind of an option? Is the trim something that just goes on the pad or what?

They are stamped pices of stainless that lay over the pedal pad.  They are secured with tabs that you bend over in the back.  Mine wasn't optioned for them but I decided to use them anyway.  Year One sells complete bezel sets.

Thanks guys, exactly what I wanted to know. I think that it really adds a lot to the pedals.

They are code J41 on the broadcast sheet. I have seen three non-SE's that came with them.
