My call, replica , the front wheel wells  are stock and It looks like four wheel drive height compared to any aero race car

THE CHARGER PUNK

also it does not have the daytona plug as you can see and the wing and nose seem to be home made-MATT

dads_69

There was a replica on ebay a few months ago, if he bought that car off ebay, then its a fake. Nice car, for what it is at least. Like the Punk said, no rear window plug, not the real deal...
Mark
Hey, you can hate the game but don't hate the player.

daytonalo

Wow , I need my eyes checked . I will build a # 71 clone down to every detail .   Larry

THE CHARGER PUNK

maybe real allison 69 charger??? and someone down the line added the daytona nos and wing? as u can see the rear bumper has that alluminum skin riveted over the ends of the bumper, dunno hard 2 call but i say its a replica-MATT

dads_69

Yeah, a closer look at the photo from B. Jackson, and the cars are different. Looking at the wheel wells in front, much lower in heigth, fender is cut much more vs. being stock that guy sent in. Plus the fender and nose cone are even different. The fender scoops look like they were made by an 8th grade kid failing class.

THE CHARGER PUNK

they may not be the same cars, but it may be an allison base charger(non-daytona) either that or a pretty well done replica

The 71 datyona image has been done on Dan Gaddis 440 daytona. And very nice job if you ever seen this car upclose

hey guys, look very closely at the nose cone , is it me or is the rake of the nose incorrect ? it looks stubby

dads_69

You are correct Larry. That nose cone was built by the same kid who built the fender scoops. An 8th grader who failed class more than once. Home made job sheet metal I would presume. But I have been wrong before. Could be a glass nose also, very poorly done. I would tear that car apart before I'd drive it. The more I look at the second photo, it almost looks like a 4x4 charger.

daytonalo

Finally , I have someone who speaks just like me! Its ashame that someone went through all that work to get it wrong , what a waste of time and money !!!!!!!!!!!!Larry

daytonalo

Here we go , now look at the wing !!!!!!!!!!!!! It looks like a modified park bench , what a joke . Come on guys don't sugar coat it , it looks like a pile !!!!!!!!!!

dads_69

I was waiting for you to make a comment about that derelict of a wing. I'm on a roll this morning, haha....
Mark

daytonalo

I'm waiting for someone to comment and say  , wow that is a nice car and you are way off base !!!!!!!!!! The more I stare at it the more I feel like I have to poop !!!!!!!!!!!!

dads_69

 :iagree:
I was going to say that it would make a nice parts car, but not knowing how they formed the nose together, my guess is that its worthless to me for parts for my clone.

The guy road races the car.  It's a homemade job, but he's out having fun.   For the record, this is not the same replica #22 street car that was for sale in California.

daytonalo

Could you imagine calling the insurance co and informing them that a park bench came through my winshield !!!!!!!!!!

69_500

You guys are a bit harsh on some people. Maybe he did all the work himself, and if he enjoys the car that is what matters. If he races it even better. At least he is enjoying his car.

dads_69

Larry, I think he wants us to apologize for being truthful about the 8th graders park bench project.
Mark
Hey, you can hate the game but don't hate the player.

daytonalo

Looks like the owner is wearing a short persons long pants !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess the park bench is the least of his worries when you dress like that  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ghoste

Well I hope we aren't supposed to start dressing the same.  I never got the damned memo.  :o

We should all be able to dress and drive what we want shouldn't we?
