G'day all,

just wondering......is it possible to get all the members of this forum sorted out into what model (year) cars everyone owns, and adding that link somewhere ? Huh

If it's been done already, let me know, but what I mean is let's say I'd like to see what guys on here own 71's.......instead of looking through everyones nickname to see something that resembles some thing to do with 1971 Chargers, we could look at the list and see all the guys who are registered members that own 71 cars.

Does that make sense ? I'm not sure how hard that is to do, but I reckon it might be helpful for those trying to contact others with similar vehicles.

sounds like a good idea, I am sure Troy has (is) doing something or has thought about this already, just waiting for it to come to his priorities list.  along with the 1,000 other things Cheesy

I realise what I'm saying probably isn't an easy thing either. Just thought I'd throw it out there and see if there was any other interest.
Sorry if it makes work for the administrators.

This is a really good forum and that's just something I'd like to see. There's been heaps of times I've been interested in asking other 3rd Gen guys something, but you really have to track them down. The only other option is posting and hoping they manage to see it.

Imagine having all the years set out, and just clicking on a particular year to see who's got one. Ideally it would be done when people sign up.

Not a bad idea, I wouldnt mind having a look at something like that. I guess it would be alot of work for the admins though.

OK....so it's INCREDIBLY basic, but it's a start.....and will probably go nowhere anyway.

If you look at http://www.1962valiants.com/peter/forumcars.html I knocked up the simplest of tables with our cars listed. Ideally if it could be like the Register I have my our car club cars at http://www.1962valiants.com/register/list.html it'd be even better, but to be honest I think we should subscribe to K.I.S.S - Keep It Simple Stupid.

Really, all that's needed is a quick reference to who's got what on the forum without giving out too many personal details.

You're right mate, but as long as it's absolutely stinking hot where I live - at 11:30 pm on a Friday night, and the family is asleep.......I'll muck around with it. Just so long as no-one has big expectations.
