I've been looking for a good K-frame for my 73 charger,  that is a big block frame and I've found one that is off of a 74 charger SE. Is the 74 the same as 73? Does anyone have the the part #'s  for both frames so I know that it is for sure going to fit?  :icon_smile_wink:

Supposelly since 73 up to 78-79 I think, are the same K members with only difference on blocks mounts

However on my 74 Mopars catalog states different PN since June 73:

318/360 Comp    3642745---------------after 10-15-73     3817139
225                   3726807-------------- after 10-19-73     3817137
400/440 Comp    3642749---------------after 10-15-73     3817135

Maybe they are just supersedes numbers or the COMP abreviations are for the complete assembly for a while the AFTER numbers are part of Crossmember, like the could be sell incomplete ??? Dunno.

Maybe the COMPLETE assembly is with isolators and next ones without them.

Anyway I'm pretty sure they are the same. We installed a 73 K member on a 74 long time ago without problems... Both BB.

Thank you very much for the info on the part #'s. Do you know if the part# is stamped on the K-frame any?

Nacho-RT74

I never have found any PN stamped on K member
