I saw this on ebay for $134.00 Put a bid on it to stop the buy it now. I know Year One prices are inflated a bit, and being this one needs the spring plate and looks like one of the other (not sure what there called) braces. So, I wanna know, how hard is it to find the broken parts, and what would is a reasonable price for this? I have bought from this guy few times before and was happy.

I purchased one on ebay for my 71 Super Bee for around 150.00 plus shipping. It looks like one of the sway bar link bolts are broken on the one that you are watching. The one that I purchased also has a broken bolt for the link. Are they available separately ? I have not installed mine yet because of that. Good luck with your search.

rod... I think I can get some NOS around. Is to front 73/74, but maybe easy to cut an weld somehow on to 71/72 bar clamp.

Now about the plates... cut and weld won't be safe since it is lots of presure on that area, but 71/72 plates are not that hard to find. I expent around two years trying to find 73/74 ones for a while found some 71/72s

Anyway, those plates are not for 71/72 assembly, they are to 73/74 to solated spring clamps. Is the bar completelly straight or bended in the middle ?

this is the 71/72 bar plate

So the spring plates are wrong anyway. That then really isn't a big deal then to find the plates for my year, cool. And, that bar is straight.

OK, THEN BAR IS THE RIGHT ONE... sorry the caps. 73/74 is bended in the middle because bar sits closer to center chunk, because the isolators assembly made the axle pedestal shorter to keep same rear ride height than earliers

plates... just if your car does have isolated springs/clamps asembly what as far I know were available on 73/74 not on earliers, then the ones I posted are the ones you need

Why not go with this one?

Because it says right in the add that it fits all those years. Meaning it is a generic fit sway bar. Plus, the guy says that the one in the pic isn't even the one he is selling. I don't know about you, but it seems somewhat cheesy that he doesn't just put a pic of the actual bar he is selling. I want the sway bar that actually came on '72 Chargers.
