can't think what else it could be, it's to the left of the brake pedal on the floor..
I'd rather push a Charger than drive a Mustang.. which is lucky..

That's the headlights dimmer switch.  when you switch to brights a small red light will turn on on the dashboard to let you know your brights are on. 
1969 Dodge Charger, second owner.  The first owner was my Dad.

up 72 red light... since 73 blue light ( except where still 150 miles speedo are mounted )
