i bought a complete under dash wiring harness for my 72 charger, and i am pretty mechanically inclined-is this something i can do in a day?i understand its easier with the front seats out-which i plan to pull anyway,to fix my screwed up carpet.any tips or tricks i need to know?

as you take each connector off- label it so as to make sure the new one will go back onto that part.

seats out will help- but if you can- take the whole dash out- there is lots of wires up there and on your back looking up is gonna be hard at the best of times! wires go around things and clips and stuff!!!!.

when you do get it out- put the old and new harness side by side and make sure the connectors are the same / same location and are actually there- this will save you time if something is wrong!!!!!!!

A day will do!!
