I am going to replace my AM radio with a new Alpine cd player. I am going to be using 3 1/2" speakers in the front and 2 6x9's in the rear. What would be the best way to wire this up?Can i hook up to the factory plug for power?  Can i use the factory plug for anything? No amp just a head unit and 4 speakers.

Check the wiring diagram for your Charger. I used the 12v from the factory radio in my '71. If you're not putting it in the dash, there are probably one or two unused accessory pigtails into which you could plug for switched 12v. The wiring diagram will show you.
