got a repro 26'' radiator and I got an electric fan to go on it . I believe its either a 14 or 16" fan and puts out 2000 cfm  . would this be good enough to cool without a mechanical fan ?

How "hot" is the 446 going to be? Personally, I would upgrade the fan at the very least. It's always better to go over board on particular things such as a cooling system.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. When I said "hot" I meant, how souped up will it be?

the more compression and cam you have the higher the heat,is what young gun means(i think!) i am curious as to what you come up with also,i have a twin electric fan set that came out of a friends 98 camaro that i have been thinking about installing on my charger, with a mild 440-let me know what you come up with?

Is the radiator aluminum? I'm assuming it isn't. I would upgrade the fan to a Spal unit, http://www.spal-usa.com/html/dampframe.htm. Also, fabricating a shroud will also greatly improve the cooling capabilities. You should also install an aftermarket mechanical water temp gauge. You can never be to careful when it comes to your cooling system. Good luck Banana  !

non-alum , someday when hav emoney probably will go with it.

just got the fan in today its a 16''  with 2100 cfm  .   Im hoping/thinking with the fan and highflow water pump (mech) should be good enough witht that radiator .   unless someone thinks otherwise  ???
