I won't be wronged, I wont be Insulted and I wont be laid a hand on. I don't do these things to others, and I require the same from them.

The blue one listed as Jim Radke's was later owned by Pete Haldiman as well if I"m not mistaken. He bought it a little after he sold my dad the hEMI 500.

I rode in the back seat of the Keith Black Daytona on the way to dinner.  Apparently, I don't drive fast enough for the SoCal boys.  About 9 Daytonas, 'Birds, 500's and a lonely Talladega weaved in and out of traffic at around 90 mph.  They'd take turns leading the pack.  (Of course, I had no idea where the restaurant WAS, so if I drove, I'd have got lost.)  Great ride, and the food was pretty good also.

Is that the blue one that was in the muffler ad in the late 70's early 80's?

That's the one. Here is the photo of it as purchased by Jim.   The photo is dated April of 1976.     It's the same courtyard where all the Street Machine photos were taken for the different Aero Cars.

69_500

Which is the same courtyard that I've seen photo's of my dad's old HEMI 500 in as well.

I remember as a kid ridding in my dad's car on the way to shows, in large groups of wing cars. With everyone cruising at around 90 mph. Back then everyone drove their cars to shows.

And THis car was the first one I ever saw in the metal! It is from my hometown, Huntsville Alabama and used to be kind of a regualr at car shows and such around here.

love the race daytona clone , what the f..... , a trailer hitch ???????

learical1

Joe's Daytona was not a clone, but a heavily modified real Daytona.  He had the nose leaded in, changed the side markers to '68 style and had old Chrysler 300 log rams on his 440.  I drove it about 20 miles; killer car!
