i was watching a video that hot rod sent me the other day and i was wondering if by chance anybody knew who owned it. there was also a picture of a daytona in a body shop (i assume it is the same one) i'll get the picture up as soon as i can find the magazine.  i would put a picture up of the one in the video but i cant get a screen cap of it.

well i got the picture and it appears to be two different ones the one is green while the trunk lid for the one in the magazine looks to be hemi orange i would put up the pic but it is too big i can send it to some one to shrink.

bear,

If you send the photo to me at genlewis@fidnet.com I will shrink it up and post for you.  Send them one picture at a time just to make sure my little hometown ISP's server doesn't get overloaded.

There was a Hot Rod magazine 'Bodywork' special edition printed a couple of months ago, which featured a picture of a Daytona being worked on.
The picture was taken at 'Restorations by Julius', in California.
Maybe the same vehicle?

I'm wondering if the Daytona in the link that MagnumCharger just posted is the HemiDaytona that sold on eBay about two years ago.  The car was in boxes, and it was an orange Hemi/Auto car.  Unfortunately, I didn't write the VIN number down and they didn't post any pictures of the car which I found really odd.  Seems like it went for $300k+, and for whatever reason I thought that Julius had ended up with the car.  Could be wrong though.

Julius has had at least one other V2 orange car in his shop recently.  Just last August he had L9B356533 up on eBay, so that's another car it possibly could have been.  I don't have a bead on a green C-D that went through his shop though...
