Yep, 5 degrees cooler than down below. When you see Melbourne's temps, take away 5*.  Of course, my sister-in-law who's currently living in Austria calls them ant hills.

The moon over my neck of the woods a couple days ago, but not a star in sight, kinda different....never saw it like that before...

Hey, a guess !  Ha !  Not South America.  I will give a big hint. It is actually somewhere in Louisiana!

Surprised no one guessed it!  It is the Kenny Hill Sculpture Garden, now owned by Nichols State University, located in the tiny town of Chauvin La. about 20 miles south of Houma La. on the Mississippi delta. You can see the canals leading to the Gulf of Mexico in both pictures. Very interesting story about the artist. Google this and learn about him.

We have monarchs here that migrate to Mexico.  Unfortunately, due to loss of habitat in both locations, they're endangered.
