The tamales are good, but the chile rellenos are amazing. I couldn't even eat all of mine, it was so big. Of course I had a dinner platter with it....they don't skimp on the food, that's for sure.

Back on topic,....this is a rock that my son "literally" fell over in the desert! The cool thing is that:
1: it's a snail fossil imprint. 
2. He's wanted to be a archaeologist since he was five! (He's now 12 1/2!)

Anyone ever want to know how to make tamales, let me know, Ill give you my recipe(on the recipe thread of course that no one ever contributes too...hint).  Also, I have a quick recipe for chile rellenos that is more family dinner type casserole oriented(almost like a quiche).  I already have my  Arroz Con Pollo recipe that I threw up there(hee hee, i said threw up, no pun intended)

Anyone in the San Diego area want to go to Roberto's or Alberto's and snag me a couple little cups of their hot sauce I'd sure appreciate it.  Been trying to duplicate that one for years off my memory of the taste from 1991.  I need to know what it is or who makes the one they use before I die, thank you.

...so is CB's car parked outside...?     Here is my photo of the day...cruising up 101 in San Jose in the fast lane. Good thing I can steer with my knees....   The emblem on the left reads  "O. R. Mitchell, San Antonio",  a dealership in Texas.
