Thanks for the link. Looks like a nice printer at a good price for an all in one.

I have last years model... the Artisan 800.    :coolgleamA:
It's nice the 810 comes with the duplexer.   That's an accessory for the 800.
I was buying chinese ink off ebay for my last epson and it worked out OK  but this one isn't happy with it  :shruggy:
Anyway,  Epsons make great photos.  It has a tray for regular paper and 4x6 or 5x7 photo paper.

This pic that I took at the starting line that was edited by Rick E.  From Island Dragway yesterday.   That's his son's Magnum in the left lane.  The Lincoln driver got Medevac'd out.

Not real sure...  he took a left from the right lane,  crashed into the left guardrail and bounced back into the right lane upside down.   Apparently the guy is OK tho.    We left soon after anyhow... figured the day was practically over and wasn't getting any better.

Most cases are blown engines which means oil on tires or cut tires and car into guard rail  :eek2:

Nate
The 3rd and like the 5th one are awesome because you framed them with trees closer to you.  All the pictures are awesome but those two are my faves in that bunch. Play with the ISO setting a bit and see what you can pull out of the darkness.  Higher ISO mixed with the right A/S setting = blam!  I am learning as well so just passing on some junk. :icon_smile_big:  :2thumbs:
I have a long way to go yet, but it's fun. :icon_smile_cool:
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Beautiful sunset SeattleChargerDog.

Great shot Mike.

SeattleCharger

thank you dart3404 and Mike.

Hey Mike, what does this mean?  can you give me a hint?   Is this in my camera?  or in the photo working program?

"Higher ISO mixed with the right A/S setting = blam!"

What do you use to shoot with.  I would imagine you have options for various ISO(film speed) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Film_speed settings and I'm sure you can program Shutter(exposure measured in time,examples...1sec 2sec 1/30, 1/800 1/200 etc...) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shutter_speed and Aperture(depth of field, Fstops, etc..)  http://digital-photography-school.com/aperture as well.  I'll be able to help more when I know what cam you have.  If you already said it, I apologize.  I went back a few pages but didn't see anything.

Jen's pic above, I would say she had a shutter(or exposure time) of around a couple seconds or less. If you don't use a filter during the day, you risk too much light coming through and it will wash your shot out. Maybe she used a Neutral Density Filter, maybe not. If it was a bright day, then you  almost would have to...but I can't really tell.  She had just the right amount of exposure time(S)with an equal amount of aperture(f stop) to get the right DOF(depth of field) and judging by how little noise in the picture she had a ISO in the 100ish range.  If I'm wrong she will swiftly correct me I'm sure. But that is just what I see.
ISO is a fun one to mess with but it gets noisy when you start speeding it up(more sensitivity=possible degraded quality)

These above articles will really help out.

It was a cloudy day. ISO100 F/22, shutter speed 1.8 second to get the water to flow.
ISO is the film speed. A is aperture and S would be shutter speed. They are settings on your camera, if you have manual or creative controls.

I'm taking a course online. http://www.proudphotography.com/. But there is a ton of info out there. http://digital-photography-school.com like Mike said is a great place too, it's free and has a lot of useful info.

Is this shadow even possible?  I got this in an e-mail forward, but if the shapes have 3 circles together in the railing i dont see how it can elongate the top one.  Me thinks this is someones photochop Tomfoolery.   :shruggy:

I don't know... but that is funny!! :smilielol:

Maybe with the rise of the sun can lengthen and shorten the shadows?
