9 people for 307 bucks, sounds pretty reasonable to me......... 34 bucks each for appetizers, food, desert and drinks (i'm assuming) and a great view??  i've heard the strato is more like 60 a head................

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Haha, I thought that too, the other pic of it had its 'mouth' open more
Height of the building determined the stoke of the pump ram that was used to pump the water out of the mine shaft I believe, it is another level below the road as well.

The new mine is opencast and 180' behind me taking the picture of the pumphouse

I thought it was pretty hot today while working out in the garden, so I went and got the thermometer at 5pm, turned out it sure was, had to replenish fluids

Just a couple of weeks ago we had temperatures that would have almost seen that needle go off the scale!

Yes, but if it hits 30 C here it's considered a "Hot" Day Unlike in the States, and Aus where 30 C is nothing. It hit 36C recently (don't remember where) Hottest recored day here in NZ was 42.5 I think...but where I live, you sometimes get 100% Humidity so even a
25C day feels like Hell. Hottest I've been in was Phoenix AZ 2006 48C (115-120F?) But I found Thailand tougher 35+C (coming out of Winter) with Major Humidity too!
