Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Yeah, I hear ya, I just really liked the deco style of that ornament.  I just had it printed up and it was fresh in my mind.  Here's another pic though...

I posted this in my Maine thread a couple of weeks back, but just finished cleaning it up and editing those pics.  It looks much better now IMO...

awesome! Do you mind if I turn this into a painting? I've got a nice big canvas I've been waiting to use for a new automotive piece.

BananaDan

I guess not.   :shruggy:  Are you a painter?  Or do you mean one of those photos printed onto canvas?

Here's a new one for today.

Yes, I am an artist by training, although I hold a different day job. I make a little extra cash on the side doing portrait and automotive work, among other things.

Have a fascination with macro-photography, and also watches.

Never posted any pix of either of those things, but here's a shot that I like:

Pic is of the movement of a 1941 Hamilton U.S. Military GCT (Greenwich Civilian Time) navigation watch.

Always wonder what kind of missions this thing was used on.
