Started out as a plane captain (chain dragger/chock chucker/fueler) then after quals spent the rest of my tour turning wrenches and safety wiring anything and everything. My toys were A-4E, Hueys and A-6's and T-39D. VT-86 70-76. They were good years but unlike the AF, Navy doesn't train you to achieve an A&P. Oh well.

very cool. Didn't get to work on Phantoms, they were phased out right as I joined the Texas Air National Guard after getting out of active duty (little did I know I'd pull more active duty time in my career thanks to 9/11). But, here's what I worked/work on. I'm a Weapons Loader. So, these would be my "pictures of the day"

My neighbour was sqauking that she seen some oddball and scary new never seen before spider in her palm tree so I popped over to have a look. Turns out she was right and she had called the Local Govt hotline for flora and fauna for advice. They just wanted it caught and delivered - office dwellers eh  :D
