hey guys,i have a q about the ignition...

is a 12 volt system better as a 9 volt system and will it give more miles/gallon ,better starting,better running engine?

9 volts is the running working voltage throught ballast... 12 volts is only start on source. Mopar coils ( same as another brands I think like PHORD ) use the external resistor coils kind

For better spark you would need different coil &/OR module, maybe those coils designed tu be used without external resistor, already to use with 12 volts. If that's the case, then you will need bypass or slightly modify the wires around ballast, with a jumper or kinda.

There is already BIGGER coils made to work with stock equippment ( accel big yellow and square is one of them )
