I know what it WAS...
And I know what the builder was trying to emulate...
But I gotta ask: Why go this particular route?? And Pro-street no less!!

Just say NO to handmade nosecones!!

well,.. without knowing the backstory on it it's hard to judge..
looks like a cross of a supercharger with the fireball 500 movie car,.. wasn;t that a bacaruda?..
so it's a 20 foot long two seater with no trunk...  and a kinda' peter max paint job...
I bet Larry foams at the mouth..  :icon_smile_big:

69charger2002

look at that dart! the top looks like something on the roadster from addams family. pretty sick. the most disturbing thing about the pics is that it is RECENT! not some vintage 70's photo when when you were on enough wacky weed that kind of job on a car was considered ok

i don't know for sure Travis, but i'd be willing to bet that's the Monkeemobile which was done by G. Barris in 1967...

Thus maybe the charger was too..   :shruggy:

ok it's a dart rear end and bumper no doubt..

so, the show was for bad copies of cars that were strange to begin with?..  :shruggy:

That is a bad copy of a Monkeemobile.   Kind of like how the Charger is a REALLY bad copy of the Supercharger show car.

As the article states, the Monkeemobile was a GTO, and customized by Dean Jeffries.
I don't know who built the Dart, but it was obvious that they were bent on making a clone version. But chose the wrong type of car to begin with!

Except for the nose cone and I would have left he rear wing off and made the graphics something that Mopar could have actually put on there I don't think the Charger is half bad. It really is a 2 seater that is half a mile long. But they didn't do a bad job looks like a lot of work went into it.

Actually I agree. If the owner put a stock front clip on it, or a real-appearing Daytona nose cone, my opinion of it would improve greatly.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)
