I have my backup lights (Rear Bumper) connected to the rear wiring harness.

I have a sensor on my 4 speed trany for the backup lights.

I have replaced all three wiring harnesses in my 67 Charger but I can't figure out where the wiring is to connect the harness to the backup sensor on the trany?

Is there another piece of loom I'm suppose to have to connect the two and if so on what harness does it connect to and where?

Help?

The two wires from the BU light switch on the trans enter the car through the bulkhead connector, it's the same connector that has the wires for the windshield wiper motor, the blower motor and the A/C compressor if so equipped. The harness from the bulkhead to the trans will be two violet (purple) wires.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Was it always a four speed car?  In 67, if it was an automatic, the backup switch was on the shifter.

Its always been a four speed.

I will look for the two violet wires.

Thanks!
