Hello all,

I know that there are many brother and sister Law Enforcement on this site as well as Fire Department/EMS Folks.  I work at Plano,Texas Police Department a 350 man department just north of Dallas, Texas.  On Saturday, July 7, 2007 at approximately 1130 am we lost one of our Traffic Division Motorcycle Officers who was pursuing a traffic violator, had a civilian pull out in front of him, and he laid his bike down, causing him to strike the citizen's vehicle.  Officer Dale "Wes" Hardy was a 9 year veteran of our department, and was very well liked, and admired.  I worked with him on the power shift for about 4 years, and got to know his wife Ashlee, who was a former dispatcher with our agency.   He leaves behind a wonderful lady in Ashlee , and twin three year old daughters   and an entire Police/Fire /Ems family......

Wes will always be remembered, and never forgotten....End of watch Mary 4, (radio call sign) July 7,2007....too soon the hero dies!!!!!

That sucks. My condolences go to his wife & children. :patriot:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

*Speed costs money son, how fast do you want to go, and for how long?"
*"Build the biggest engine you can afford the first time."
*"We normally wouldn't use a 383 for this build, parts and labor for a 440 cost the same."
