Aghh so true. I wish I grew up in the 60's and 70's.

:yesnod:  In 1975, when I was 3 years old my mother would leave me home alone in my playpen for a half an hour until my father came home from work.  I went on to college and started a flight school and became a pilot.

2007 My mother would be arrested, my father would be detained by Homeland security and somehow be tied to Osama Bin Laden.  I would be Adopted by a child molester and grow up to be a heroin junkie.

When I was 12, my 16 year old brother was driving with his junior licence  (circa 1981)  a kid my age rode his bike out in the road from between 2 parked cars and my brother nailed him. no biggie, just a sprianed ankle.

the kids' were at the accident scene right after and my brother was very upset and felt very guilty.  they called him later that night to see if he was ok.  Today?  my brother would still be paying to support this kids xbox/couch/fastfood/no work habit.

Well, back in the 60's we did bring our guns to school... Buy, Sell, Trade... In fact, sometimes it was required because NRA Hunter Safety was taught at the school. I got my NRA card in 1969... Yes my friends, times have changed.
