I believe this is the car mopar stuart was refering to I had to look on my computer to find it .Its owned by the the same person Wayne who sold him my superbird wing .To replace the one he had stolen recently

  yes that is wayne perkins car, It's a vit c orange car being restored in minnesota as we speak.

   side pipes , funky dash and crazy switches, crazy paint   straight out of the 1970's

Nascarxx29, any idea when those pictures were taken?  Looks like a early-mid 90's Lebaron parked next to it.

Wayne bought the car in 1989, so I would say it's an early 90's photo.

i don't like the stripes or sidepipes, but i'm a fan of the oversized 'birds on the wing.  the stripes seem incongruous for the body, like they could have put them on a different body with no modifications. 

my favorite paint job is still gaddis' old green/purple job.

That's pretty cool. It's not as if a guy wouldn't get enough looks in a wing car as it is...but with those stripes, people would have accidents! :lol:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I have them on and alot more on my computer of my stuff and what was sent to me from various people over the years.And places I had been with camera in hand . Other boards and vintage wingcar posts..Theres another superbird thats from Minn .Black with flames and I not sure I think it had sidepipes.It was once a original FJ5 car.Found that picture and alot more.I do have
Dan Gaddis car when it was green and later when it got the 71 Bobby Issac treatment

That Y2 daytona needed work.How about every body that passed on a rough white superbird for little more than $10K
I had to go on winged warriors to find Dans daytona I think thats his car I seen another one with different paint scheme .Beats looking on 2 computers and totes full of pictures

I got more Aero/ wingcars from back then to various states from cars in barns to beyond hope .But its on VHS tapes.Working on uploading and getting stuff transfered to CDs

I tried buying this Daytona for $13,000 about 12 yrs ago and the guy sold it to someone else under me for less.

The Daytona was very clean. The krinkle on the quarter panel is from my wrinkled picture. The person that bought it from underneath me supposedly restored it and also owns a Superbird here in Northern Calif.
