Here are a few pics of my progress on my 69 RT/SE.  As you can see I have quite a ways to go but the exterior is coming together nicely (at least I think it is).  I have done 100% of all the work on this car by myself, with no outside professional help at all.  All sheetmetal and bodywork were done in my garage last winter and spring, and it was painted in there too over Labor Day weekend.  The color is the original shade of W1 Spinnaker white with the black vinyl top.  The car is an original V88 stripe delete car which is why it has the chrome and red R/T badges on it.  The vinyl top is from Legendary, I installed it myself and it went on very easily, a very high quality piece of material.  The badges are all new and came from Mancini Racing, also very high quality parts.  Next comes a rebuild of the front suspension and then the interior goes back in.  My target completion time is late spring or early summer '08.  Please note that this is a driver quality restoration, as I will actually drive this car a few thousand miles each summer which is why its not getting a full rotisserie type restoration.  And yes it is a real "XS" vin number R/T with a 440, with the A47 SE package.

Great job!  Feels good doesn't it to be able to look at all your hard work.  I did my car as well but not the paint & body.  You definitely need a skill there of which I don't have rotz

I see you're from NY by the plates.....hopefully not too far from Carlisle, PA so next summer we can see that bad boy out there cheers

What's the mystery firewall plug?  Are you referring to the hole just to the drivers side of the wiper motor mount?
