Yours is nicer...it's a very nice car, and very original, but it needs another respray.  It's starting to come apart and looks a lot better in the pics.

Just 6T9 CHGR

That was on eBay back in January & March of 2006 for about 175k....Looks like Collins added a set of Redline tires & bumped the asking price up to 245k  :eek2:

The car belongs to a customer of Colin's.   It's been stored at his showroom.   It seems to be a pretty honest car.  Older 80's respray.

That's Louie Darah's former car.  We kicked it around a few times on the old board, and once on DC.com - OneBadSuperbird knew this car fairly well and wasn't too impressed.  It looks like they've made some improvements, and at least cleaned it up some.  Here's the only thread about it on this board:

It was listed twice on eBay in early 2006 (RIGHT after Barrett-Jackson), where the bidding stalled out at $175k both times but did not meet the reserve.  Then they listed it again in March of 2006 with no reserve - however the opening bid was $250k.   I never did hear for sure if it sold.

Unfortunately I did not save any pictures from those auctions like I should have. :brickwall:

Got some now though!!

Ah it should buff out right? JK.

Even with the small dent in the nose cone, I'd still take it in a heart beat. then again I'm not picky when it comes to a Daytona.

Ghoste

Could be a lot worse too, could have been on the leading edge of the nose.  :o

Yeah I'm so picky that as long as it has XX29 in the VIN, and is remotely close to being a car I'd consider them.  :2thumbs:
