Take a look at the part I made , the very top of the channel gets welded to the underside of Vega Glass channel , the next area is for the inside plastic window trim to push on , it is only 20 gauge metal , and I used tin snips to make it similar to the factory teeth . All I did was make 1/4 slits and this is what you get , it holds the trim perfectly . The next area is the shelf for package tray , by the way I will be selling Package trays that work with vega plug , they will have the very similar pattern as orig . The next area on channel is to be welded or screwed to the orig area of car that is behind speaker deck . By the way , I used a different Napa clip than the one I posted before , the one I previously listed had the trim slightly higher than I liked , will post new napa for a small fee  :icon_smile_big: Just kidding , will do it later .Dont forget tabs to attach the int trim corners !!That whole projct took me a while to lay out and make , Make sure the Channel fits tight to the Vega glass channel and the car at the same time without having to pushing down on glass channel to fit , that is so important because then the glass area will be distorted and outside trim wont fit right  Good luck Sunshine !!!!

Thanks Dane !!! Rene is is the shorter Napa Part # for the shorter moulding clip . I orig gave you a part #665-1319 , I found a slightly lower profile clip . part #665-1951 , trust me , I installed backlight and mouldings and the 1951 is a better choice . The will be easy to mix up , they are very close to each other . If you have to attach with a screw because the Vega stud is missing or rusted , pay very close attention to a very , very small head screw to fasten , if not clip will not have spring action .

That's a mental picture that we didn't need.  ;D
