Shakey,

You had me locked into reading your post.  I was hooked, but you left me hanging. What movie did the 2 guys see, and did both of the girls have the tight sweaters or just 1 of the girls? Minor details I know, but.......................

Ah who am I kidding.

Ghoste HURRY up and get to 10,000 already. I wanna know if there are fireworks or some kind of a new glossy display that will pop up under all of your post at that time. Then when you get to 10,001 they will all fizzle out, and all that will be left is a cloud of dust.

I think your goal should be to hit 100,000 I mean why not aim high and shoot for 1,000,000
I forget what board I was on the other day but I saw a member that had something crazy like 145,000 post, and I was thinking to myself. Does this person have a life at all outside of this board? I don't know how long that board had been up and running, but I'm going to have to say NO they don't. I think that I post on here way too much as it is, but it does put a smile on my face to know that I haven't been on here as much as some people. Granted I am always excited to get home from work and log on for my typical 25-40 minutes and catch up on everything I missed.

Whenever I post, I type everything out, then I go back and reread it, while asking myself "does this really contribute to the thread?  And if it doesn't, is it really funny?"  If the answer is no to both, then I click the "back" button, and read another thread.

As of now he has 19 posts to go.

What is his label going to be under his name on the left?  Or will it not change.

Old Old Timer?
Geezer?
Man on the Mountain?

Maybe we can vote on it.  Anyone else have a better suggestion? :popcrn:

I think the label should be "dead" and then you have to start over at zero.

I think it's just going to read:

Yea, you are pretty helpful there IMO. Speaking of Chryco, the last time he posted was on December 16, 2007 in my cheap OD trans thread. :shruggy:

Shakey, you are a man of great talent and great skills. You have found and conveyed exactly what I wish I had the words for. For this and for all of your fantastic reconstruction posts and How To help I thank you.

Now where is that Gold Medal smiley.....

Those are kind words Steve - thanks!

yeah Chryco post a lot on the cudachallenger board. Got to hang out with him and Troy at Carlisle quite a bit last year. Something just isn't right for our Dodgecharger Troy to be with the Cuda's and Challenger people all weekend is it?

Yeah and he gets older every time I look at his profile. Looks like he is 427 years old now.

The point that most are missing is that Ghoste has about 10,000 posts worth reading. Some others just post to see their name everywhere...   :horse:

Yeah and he gets older every time I look at his profile. Looks like he is 427 years old now.

You probably know this but some people adjust their birthdate so it matches a specific engine size. For example, if today was your birthday you'd enter your birth year as 1625 to show your age as 383. Chryco either forgot to adjust it or he is now a fan of that early '60s Ford or Chevy big block.

BTW, only five more posts. I think it's going to be just like Y2K, a bunch of hype followed by the sound of crickets.

69_500

Yeah I knew that you could adjust the year to come up with an age relating to an engine. Just think he needs to go back and update it again so that it goes back to the HEMI reading rather than the SOHC.

OH and man last night Ghoste was still 9 away, I get up this morning and check and he is 10 over. What happened in the span of 7 hours?

69bronzeT5

HEY!!!! MY POST HERE DISSAPEARED!!! IT WAS BETWEEN BULL'S AND 69 500'S! WTF!!! :shruggy:
