69Charger500

Depends what it is worth whether I sell or not.  Now or never, as I won't need to after a few more weeks...

'69 Charger 500, 440-4Speed, Super Track Pak, Console, T5-X9, 59,000 miles.  I think most of you are familiar with it.

Original owner told me it was the pace car at the Motor State 500 in June '69; 3rd owner said he had pictures of it there on the track at the inaugural race at Michigan International Speedway.  Have yet to confirm for sure...

Have original bill of sale and lots of other paperwork & pictures, but no broadcast sheet.

All original except has '69 service block...

Looks great and runs great.

What should I ask for it?  Just looking for a price range to find out whether or not to list it for sale or just keep it...

After 10 years. it's a tough decision.

Thanks....

The need to sell is based on a financial decision that will be made for me if I don't sell within a few weeks.  After that, it won't really matter.

I'd prefer to keep it, but if it solves my concerns, than so be it.  I'll look for a nice Super Bee or 383 Charger instead for those times when you just need to get out and drop the hammer...

Sorry I can't help you on the price.  :shruggy:  But that is my all time favorite color, with the white stripe.   :notworthy:
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

$65,000.00

That is about what I thought as well. I would guess in the $60,000-$70,000 range.

But what the heck do I know. Actually don't even listen to me.  ::)

Good luck in your sale.

Your car is like the red headed steep-child of the family.   :icon_smile_big:

Just take out the numbers tranny and put in a 4-speed and get it over with already.  I have the numbers tranny for my car and it is not going back in... :drive:

Yeah pretty much. Some times I think that I need to go out to the garage and do this to the car  :pity:, for all the comments I make about it here. Its true though, its not exactly what I wanted, but it is the type of car I wanted. Love the color R4 red though, just not too fond of the white gut, or the AT part.

Yeap, T7... But this one has the correct color of Dana's stripe, white......... Found out two years ago from the second owner the car originally came with a white stripe, not black that's on her now.... If I don't trade Dana towards a winged car, I'll be putting the white stripe back on..........

69charger500's C500 looks great !!!

From the photo's I have of his car, I'd say that is is a very nice ride. Something that I wouldn't mind just hopping in and cruising over to a show in . :drive: :drive:
