$65,000.00

Before i read your post i was thinking $75,000.  :yesnod:

Dont know about $100,000 though, but thats just my opinion.  :Twocents:  However, i hope you get six figures, (for no biased reason ofcourse)  :icon_smile_big:

And I was thinking $75,000.00 before I decided to go with $65,000.00   ;)

Also, a Hemi 500 sold last night for $110,000.00 at BJ.

From the photo's I have of his car, I'd say that is is a very nice ride.

I've looked at the car in person before and in spite of my admitted bias for the 500's, I'll tell any who haven't seen it that pictures cannot do it justice.  It's a great car.
On a related note Danny, am I more offended at your car being called a red headed step child than you are?

69_500

Probably, but then again its my car and I can bash it all I want. Feel free to bash it too if you want, I won't take any offense. My car doesn't mind if people do this to it  :nana: or  :hah: and some even go  :eek2:

I would love to check the car out in person. I'm hoping he contacts me, as I'm free this weekend and wouldn't mind a trip to his house to take about 800 photo's of the car, and try to work a deal out.

Three years ago I had some outfit at Carlisle appraise my 500 and it came out to $41,000. but there is a bunch of reasons for that. Your car I would definitely agree with the $65-75 range but I think  people are a Little more cautious in their buying habits now.  Nice car by the way :2thumbs:

Thanks for the responses.  I think I'm getting a better feel for what a fair price would be.

The thing that really makes these decisions tough, is that in 5 or 10 years will they continue to go up in price so I couldn't afford another one, or will the prices stabilize or come down eventually?

And what does a decent 383 Super Bee go for these days, I wonder?

By the way, heres' one of the pics I have of it from around 1972...

and here it is @ WPC a few years back (I always liked this picture/view)...

I can tell you that my dad has admited that he regrets selling all of his cars. He doesn't regret selling 1 in particular, just wishes that he had kept at least 1.

OH and a decent driver bee can be had for not a huge bank roll. Depends on if your looking for a 4 speed car, or if it doesn't matter. Or if your picky on the year, or the color choices. Personally I love the 69 Superbee's, that is my opinion though. Not too much of a fan of the 70's front grille, although it is growing on me slowly.

i'll take a '69 4-speed in B5 Blue...
