hi, i have a cutom built dash with all autometer gauges except the ampmeter. i wanted to put in a matching gauge but it only comes as a voltmeter.
i was wondering what to do with the big ass ampmeter wires after the voltmeter is in? someone told me if i leave them unconnected then the system wont charge.
so what do i do?  :brickwall:
any help would br awsome!!

Just connect them together and wrap them with electrical tape.

Ammeter is the main bridge to everything on car from batt. If you remove simply won't have power to anywhere. As stated by plumcrazy, just tye them up and will get back the link.

You can use simply a bolt and nut to tye both eyelet terminals and job done, then isolate since tht conection will be hot allways. That screw will provide you also a splice point to conect anything ;)
