I believe that there have been several Superbirds lately sell for under the $100K mark. If I'm not mistaken wasn't there a 6 pac Bird that recenty sold in the ball park of $85K?

The Tor-red Superbird at the Volo Auto Museum was supposedly for sale at $89K about a month ago.

Yeah, but that one is now (last I heard) being restored in South St. Louis County for the new owner from Tennessee.  I suppose Clayton picked a pretty good time to sell it after all was said and done.

I know this 390014 440 4 speed F6 car sold for $100K 2 years ago from home my town. And it wasnt running and needed completion with all furnished parts..Seems hard to find these days something in rough but driving condition affordable. The other F6 car my friend found and viewed was at the time $25K.In 80-90s.Nowadays you got to discover one in a barn or burried in a garage. With a clueless owner

Rumor has it this car sold last week for $85K

Nothing had been done to it since it was sold for $60K a couple of years ago.

I thought Musclecarfinders.com was going to do some glorious restoration on it?  Guess they never started huh?

I was going to say last time I saw those pictures that car was supposed to be undergoing a complete restoration. I think that car came from the same guy who bought one of my dad's old daytona's as well. And the first time I had heard of that car coming up for sale it was $45K and that was 4 years ago at the Mopar nationals. The first time I took my 500 there.

Did you try to buy it at $45k?

I would have except that it was just a little over 5 weeks after I had just purchased the 500. If it had been more like 10 months after that I think I could have talked the wife into it. But not after just dropping $32K for the 500.

Resting in the Ozarks? It wasn't too far from there the first time I heard about the car. I thought that Muscle Car Restorations was in North Carolina or along those lines.
