Did you make the lower plug channel to support the package tray and also the ledge to install lower window int trim ? That took me a while to figure out . I posted pics of it a while ago

no not yet. I'm still in shock that he got something done . he had a real daytona there to copy the curves from . he also has a real daytona trunk lid there , that he used to figure out the hinge mounting positions on the trunk lid. he said he wants to sell that trunk lid.
it's been a weird day . i caught a virus in this computer . took me a long time to get it up and running. then i go out there ready to be disappointed and surprise .

I'll be glad when I'm to that point on Howie's car. After I installed the plug, he took it to have the Nascar style rollcage installed. May get back on it this summer.  Should start on Stuart's back glass in a week or so.
I know you gotta be grinnin' a little now.  ;D

Larry, I have the opposite problem. Now that I have a shop full of resto work, I want to work on all of my own car projects at the same time.
I've even thought about getting my 77 Trans Am SE Smokey and the Bandit car out of storage when what I really need to do is just get the new engine and tranny in the Runner first.
Too many projects, not enough time, money or energy.

The package tray shelf must be done without glass installed and at the same time you must make area for window int trim to push on . If you don't do it now , you will have super big problem down the road .

yep i was out there today. i printed up some pics of daytonalo's shelf and sent him the thread about it  . he's gonna instal it before he puts the glass in . i found the trim for the glass and bought the trim clips from napa. you need two bags to do the whole window . Rene

Its a good thing you threw in that "almost" normal.  :nana: Then again who amongst us actually normal? Then again if everyone is "off their rocker" wouldn't that become the norm? :icon_smile_wink:
