I am thinking of replacing the tail panel arrow emblem on my '68 with an R/T emblem. Are the existing mounting holes (for the arrow) the same that's required for the reproduction R/T badge?

Thanks,  Chris

From what I know, the grille arrow and R/T emblem holes are the same so they are interchangeable where the tailight panel, you would have to have new holes drilled and the old ones filled.

Thanks for the info.

What is the best way to fill the holes?

Welding is the only acceptable way IMO.

I was afraid welding would be the best solution.

Looking at the thread mentioned above, does the left hole (viewed from the rear) line up for the R/T badge and arrow symbol?

Chris,
When positioned correctly, The R/T emblem will j-u-s-t cover the other holes.
Of course, the BEST way is to weld the old ones.

Thanks bill440rt, that may provide a temporary solution until the extra holes can be properly welded.
