Very true, although the Rallye Wheel trim rings would originally have been shipped in the trunk too. 

Maybe the dealer was afraid someone would end up using it (accidentally) as a snowplow like Troy suggested   :shruggy:

Neat pic, and I thought the same thing as Danny about the headlights.

I would imagine a decent number of cars didn't have the spoilers attached until they were sold?  rick edwards' car had its spoiler torn (1.5" gash) before delivery and they had to order a new one for him.  then they gave him the original one, which he's currently running, gash and all.
