Sounds familiar to me...

I was contacted by Kristi a while ago about a door glass I had for sale in the Parts for Sale section on this forum. Said she was interested in it, & if it was OK to send me a pre-paid UPS sticker for shipping. After going back & forth with a few emails, I sent her my address as she sounded legit. I NEVER received payment. So, now some stranger deadbeat buyer out there has my address.

Good luck, DeathProof.

I went and saw one of their Chargers they had for sale about three weeks ago, it was a P.O.S.
It was on eBay, and they wanted $1,800  for it... you could tell it had been sitting in a pond for atleast three to five years, trunk pan was gone, inside was water logged, no carpet so you could see the floors were gone...

Big rip off!!!

PEACE.

Oh it's not the week thing that bothers me. The fact that they cant take a minute to type to me about shipping status after being patient for 3 or 4 days. The two different address thing is fishy in it's self...  yesnod Sounds like they are milking us chargers lovers dry by filling thier pockets and sending nothing or trying to sell junk.

iagree For all you know, they have been shipped & are currently in a traffic jamb somewhere. Maybe their computer died just after they waved goodbye to the delivery truck & they have no way of returning your e-mails. Maybe... icon_smile_tongue

Thanks! That says it all!!  flame flame flame Something has really got to be done about this!!! Must not really be a mopar guy. 98% of all mopar people that I have dealt with have been more than helpful  yesnod

If they really wanted me to know shipment status they would find a way to contact. All my ebay transactions work this way. I send my customers a tracking# right after the product ships. I would never take anyones money and run with it!! go check my ebay Id as demonboy225 ,100% !!!

Call UPS in his town and let them know whats up.  If he works for them hes gonna hear about it.  Even if he doesnt, maybe they will be interested to know about his little scam involving their name.

I absolutely hate how people like this, get into the business of SCAMING genuine people out of their money, especially if it's something they love as much as like MOPARS.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1970-Charger-RT-Purple-white-Loaded_W0QQitemZ170208759852QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item170208759852

I'm kinda new to Dodge Chargers, and LOVE THEM!!!. But this guy was selling to a kid (A.K.A. Me) who didn't know any better, or the severe amount of scams out there. He was asking, just like in this ad a "Asking Price" or "Buy It Now" for $5,900, I was almost out that amount because I did't know any better.

I'm learning very qucikly, that you should't trust just anybody, ESPECIALLY over the net. I just want to find this car, without paying ten grand for a pond swimmer!! lol

Be careful out there.

I get what you mean about the "something fishy "quote now! He works for Ups and ships with them also...... think . You'll just have to hope the guys honest and doesn't have access to the companys computer if he isn't . I guess if you get a hold someone at the company all they could confirm would be something was shipped weather thats a box of parts or a empty box who knows ? Don't know anything good or bad about the seller hope it works out for you .
