Almost got this beast ready to run after 2 years.  Just electrical left to do. Where does this thick, red wire with the yellow butt connector go? If my memory serves me, which it usually doesn't, I think this red lead was attched to the starter relay battery terminal.  Could that be true? Is this some messed up modification the previous owner did?  I thought the ign wire was brown and thinner.   This is a  74' 440

This Forum has been awesome over the past two years of building this beast.  Can wait to hear it run again.

thanks

thats the MAIN SOURCE to everything... should have a fuse link plugged there ( original color blue ) and then hooked on starter relay stud

Thanks Nacho!
71Deputy sent me the complete wiring diagram....and your exactly right...blue wire with fusible link then to the Starter relay.

Let me write this down....my memory served me correctly on this day.
