Hi, can someone post some pictures of the wiring that joins the console wiring to the dash wiring. So i can see the conectors & the wire colours 68-70 B-body.
Its not in the service manual.
Thanks

I guess since your avatar pic is a 69, are you asking for 69/70... 68 is diff due the reverse light switch is on console and 69 is on NSS.

Somebody already posted a pic of that harness. Basically is a pink wire ( constant positive ), yellow ( door ground ) and orange ( shifter light, positive )

FWIW, the entire console wiring harness is seperate from the dash wires. It comes off the fuseblock, runs to the drivers side kickpanel, then has another harness bring it across the floorpan to the center hump where it meets the harness that is inside the console. This is important as if you have a new harness in the dash, or have one from a non-Console car, or if someone completely removed all console wiring, you wont have a plug end waiting for you as it is not bundled up with everything else (like all other accessory wiring). It is a stand alone item.

just exactly as in the pic, the cloth tubed harness section is the one running across the floor

The picture shows two thirds of the whole harness. Missing is the portion that runs that cloth covered section to the fuseblock.

I found the wiring i was after, its 2 wires 1pink, 1oranage. They come off the fuse box & have a grey connector at the end, then the wiring to the center console plugs into this. lastly the small wiring for the console itself plugs into this.

should have yellow too... is the door jam switch ground to feed courtesy lights.

courtesy lights are ground switched for a while positive is constant throught pink wires.

I can see also a black wire mostly sure with eyelet terminal on pic above. That must be ground to the shifter lightning.

then on Pic I see also a terminal floating around... Dunno whats for.
