One more de-bugging on the 68 Charger.  When I depress the brake pedal it instantly blows the tail light fuse.  Alt gauge instantly pegs on -40 discharger and fuse blows.  Fuse is fine if I just turn the lights on with the rocker switch.  All wirering is brand new from M&H all light bulbs are new, new brake light switch,  this is a 4 year rotisserie resto so EVERYTHING is new.  Any ideas on where to start troubleshooting this?

The sockets for all the rear lights only mount one way. There is a cutout in the sockets that fit in a tab in the housing. If you don't line it up it will short to ground and blow fuses.
