I did a search but couldn't find the answer to if my wires will be there.
About to change over a clock to a tic toc tac, my car originally came with the clock, so here is my question.

Are the wires going to be there? Or do I have to custom up the connections? If I have to custom them up. What goes were?

Diagrams would be helpful. Thanks

As far I know you need to feed the clock from battery source ( same as your actually one ), tach from accesories source and from negative terminal of coil. SOOOO if you car didn't come with tic toc tach, then you would need run a wire by the engine harness from negative terminal of coil up to bulkhead and then up to tach. Accesories source is easier, with just a single wire from any accesories source, like fuse box. 3rd gens have to accesories source a yellow rubber triple female bullet kind plug with green wire on underdash harness. Maybe earliers also do.

I have the same situation.  I had to buy a separate harness for the tach, Y1, Paddock, and Charger Specialties all sell them (around $30). The clock wiring is still good but there is nothing I could find for the tach on mine. One wire goes from accessery on the fuse box to the tach, one goes from tach to the coil thru the firewall

I got a couple Tach wire kits from Charger Specialties, they are not part of your standard wire harness
it is an extra wire harness with two wires and adapters.
