hi

 i use to receive an email alert when someone replied to a thread i was watching. i haven't been getting them for the last couple of days. i didn't change any settings. they just stopped coming . can anyone tell me why. Rene

i can't figure this out . i cleaned everything up on the charger board page and i just spent an hour with msn on the phone . they said everything is fine

Look in your email notification settings in your profile...that's where you set your preferences.

I'm still checking. Nothing is getting bounced. The reason I first suspected your email provider is because they "blackhole" anything that doesn't meet their rules or that they think is spam. They don't return the email with an error message - it just disappears. Hotmail/MSN/Windows Live are notorious for blacklisting valid email servers with no procedure for servers to be removed from the list. At times I wonder if they even know how it works. Are you getting PMs? If you are then there's a problem with the notifications being sent but if you aren't getting either one then I'd say it's something external between you and the web site. I can check the "sent" messages in the mail server but all that will tell me is if they are going out.

Hmmmm scratchchin.


I've been running into this same problem with the Funny Pictures thread.

It works for awhile then stops. I have to keep re subscibeing to it.
