I am fearing the worse as I think these have been applied for at least a decade but any recommendations for miracle products that may do the trick would be great. They are on the bottom of the front grill. Thanks folks.

I used WD40 & plastic scraper (very small one.)  Worked great. The bumper had 30 years worth of AAA stickers, one right on top of eachother, year after year, on the same spot and I swear that the layers of sticker after I got them off looked like a Gobstopper cut in the middle ,with all the different layers of AAA decals. The only thing was that the chrome was like brand new and did not match the driver quialty bumper that is on the car.  the BL is WD40. |

I've used WD40 with success, but I prefer lighter fluid for decals/stickers. Soak the sticker then use a plastic scraper and plenty of patience.

I use Goo Gone. It is specifically made to remove decals and the adhesive. Works great.

Ive had GREAT luck with 3m Adhesive remover..comes in a spray can and the thing works great.

With the assistance of Goo Gone, Lighter fluid, 2 credit cards, 1 deck chair, 1 flathead screwdriver, 1 sponge, 1 saucepan, sore knuckles & knees and four hours of my time I have now won the war and got the bastard off. Note to self : the next time you buy a car with a sticker older than you are on it negotiate a little harder.  |

You've grown from your experience and are a better man in the end. It was amazing how many 38+ year old parts refused to come off my Charger during disassembly. The torch and angle grinder became my best friends  |
