in the first reply the guy has it dead on. ebay is just being greedy. they are essentially charging $145 to sella  vehicle on there now, as opposed to $90. PLUS they are mandating paypal, credit card(ok like individuals can accept credit card payments).. etc.. as of october, for ebay.com and parts on ebay motors etc, money orders and checks cannot be a proper form of payment. ebay trying to double dip by forcing sellers and buyers to use paypal. ebay is getting worse by the month

The company said it will begin that effort by lowering the exposure in its search results for sellers who have high rates of customer dissatisfaction. Conversely, Donahoe said eBay will begin increasing the search exposure for the listings of sellers who have the best customer satisfaction ratings.

this is discrimination... i dont agree with it, because if we all pay the same to list an item, it SHOULD get the same amount of exposure no matter what.  dont agree with this policy and I am sure it can (and maybe will?) be fought in the courts by some dirtbag of a seller.

I listed several parts for sale on ebay at the same time a few months ago, & I couldn't list them at all without paypal as an option for the buyers. I have a paypal account, but I didn't like the fact that I was forced into listing an item a certain way. What got me even more angry, was that ebay screwed up one listing & blew me off. I didn't know it until I got an email from a buyer asking why he was barred or blocked from my auction. I looked into it & had no idea what he was talking about. If I was logged into my account & looked at the auction, it appeared fine. If I browsed the auction not logged in, it said my item was listed for some kind of pre-registered or pre-approved buyers only. (only one of three auctions was like that)

When I tried to straighten it out with ebay, the live help tech said "Gee, that's strange, I don't know why it's like that." He said there was nothing he could do & left me hanging. I haven't listed a damn thing on ebay since, & have sold more things on Moparts.com. Screw ebay.

except craigslist it starting to warn people "not to ship items" as its most likely a scam. If I try to list any items out of my city, they are immediately flagged and removed.
