when Stu said 'they just kinda let us loose' it was me and Mike Svec racing that brought the laps to an end  :smilielol:

'Bird,
Sorry to bust your bubble, but we had had 45 minutes plus on the track, several folks had pulled off, and a couple of folks looked like their confidence was about to overcome their talent.  For those attending, this post speaks for itself.  The fact that you post up apparently taking credit for ending a meet activity that took months of planning speaks volumes.  It is my hope that I am able to be a participant should you ever host and plan a national meet.  Hopefully by then you will have realized the amount of faith and trust involved for us to be granted the access to the various facilities that we had and how easily that can be lost.  I now burn my soapbox.

I would like to take this time to thank all who attended the Winged Warriors 2009 National meet.
I know this took a lot of time and effort on the part of each of you, as well as cost in this economy, and I appreciate your joining us.  I hope that all had a good time, and that the schedule was not too hectic.  To those intrepid adventurers who braved the elements, I am sorry we lost our battle with the rain gods on Wednesday, but I still hope it was worth it.  For those who attended, please PM me an address and e-mail,as it seems the list I was assembling must have made the trip home with someone.
Again, it was a pleasure meeting you all.
