Rack and Pinion 2000 Chrysler Concorde

My daughters Concorde needs a new rack due to very hard sterring when turning left. Advanced auto lists two differnet units. One is Performance steering(SBP)/standard steering(SBA) and the other is Speed Proportional Steering (Sbc). They say check the data plate but I couldn't find it. Where is it located and what codes do I look for? Also I was planning on getting new outer tie rod ends with the new rack. Should I do anything else while the rack is being replaced?
