no way  .. :o..  :rotz:   surly it would have been quicker & easier   get one out of a junk yard   :hack: ....

Yes, but that might have cost BK $10 and that was out of the question, they weren't getting paid enough to do that! Come on man!!  :slap:

What the hell is this sh*~  I'm not a welder but I've done it a few times and I can do better than that.  Why did BK even bother with this?  They could just buy a clean driver For $15k paint it orange and add decals and sell it for twice the money and do nothing.  And, they would have a good name, make money and give the customer a good car.  These Guys are ---------- :eyes: I can't even begin to imagine what kind of drugs are going through this tweeker.  If I didn't know better I would call you a liar Jeff.  :icon_smile_big:  There is just no way a shop could do this much Sh*% to one car.  :smilielol: :smilielol: :smilielol:   MAN, I bet they did spend tons of time on it.  Because you know,  It takes 10x longer to do something if you are tweeking and don't know what you are doing.   :smilielol:

Welp, now that the cat's out of the bag, I may as well share something VERY cool with you.. You have to see some of the work that's come out of Jon's shop to get an idea as to why I'm so excited about this project:

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NOW I HAVE SEEN EVERYTHING...................................

I think I would be buying a very large enclosed trailer and everything removed from that concoction would be inside labeled and fastened to a board. You could be paid by the promoters to bring it to the shows like the Hemi Under Glass. Only you could have the incredible pile of Rot and bad welds under BONDO.  "BEFORE AND AFTER"  Maybe you should be filming all of this unveiling. I am watching this day after day and I just CANNOT BELIEVE the scoundrels actually accepted money for this work.

I think someone should drag BK to a big show and let everyone there stone him... An eye for an eye is too good for this thief.

Why on earth would you be emailing me?

Again,

I did what I was paid to do. You didnt buy a car from me, you didnt pay me to build the car your way. If there were things you wanted done, I am not REQUIRED to do them because you want them or even because you and I both think they are a good idea. If you would have asked in the first place, no I wuoldnt have done everything for free, but I am sure we would have worked something out. I really dont care what you have to say. I just delivered a $150k car to a customer who couldnt be happier. Why is that? because I make a habit of building crap cars? or because he spent the money it needed and did what was required to make a great car?

Your a great example of the types of customers I need to avoid. Want things for less than they cost, expect to get top dollar deals at bottom dollar prices and somehow things its someone elses responsability to make it happen. All of these cheapskates who want to make noise about how perfect a car should be are the same people who balk when you give them the bill. everyone wants quality, not everyone can afford it and somehow thats my problem?

You didnt buy a car from me. You didnt ask me to do any work. You bought somenoe elses problem and want to blame someone and I am an easy target. This is pretty cut and dry for anyone who can think for themselves.

Its true that someone in this whole thing is doing something wrong, but I dont think you'd ever admit it. you've never been in my shoes to see the other side. You werent here when the car was being built so I wouldnt expect you to know. But I do know, I know everything that happened, in great detail, so I can lay this before God and sleep knowing I did more than anyone else would have in the same circumstances, I put up with alot to hold my end and try to get him what he wanted in spite of everything. I did more than my fair share. I am not saying it was 100%, there might have been things to repair under warranty, no car done that cheap is perfect, but I was never given the chance, so thats not even something we can discuss is it?

I think you need to appreciate what you have alittle more and enjoy life a bit. Its just to short to be an asshole.

Before this post ever started I gave him the chance. His answer?? Ship it back to me at your expense and we'll look it over..

Yeah, let me rush out and send the car back to the same butcher shop that "built it".  :smilielol:

You should have asked him why did he provide a car that was junk?  Why did he not buy a more solid roller.  And WHY IS HE STILL USING A REVOKED  L.L.C. ?   And, is he reporting the $150,000 ?   Because we are.  Thank you BK.  :slap:

And please, stop bringing God into the subject, like you suddenly care about anyone but yourself. Ask yourself one thing -- How do you build a car for $70k+ and send it off not being the LEAST BIT SAFE. Every corner of this vehicle that you touched, you butchered. I don't care if a customer puts $10k or $100k into a car, BUILD IT SAFELY. You want to talk about God, maybe you should ask for His forgiveness for your sins. Ripping people off certainly won't get you a seat in Heaven.

Oh my god, so if you payed 100k more, he might have welded the shifter bracket properly? What a JOKE!  :smilielol:

BK, READ CLOSE.  :slap:  This whole thing IS NOT about money.  :slap: I don't care if it was a 1 billion dollar resto or a 5 dollar resto.   :slap:   That is a MUTE subject.  :slap:  You took money for work that you claim you did and clearly as seen in these pictures the work WAS NOT DONE as you said it was.  What part of this don't you understand ? ? ?  I see that you are on here reading, would you care to explain this ?  Of course you don't.  :rotz:  Because you can't.  :rotz:  And would you like to share with us WHY you are still claiming to be an L.L.C. when your L.L.C. was REVOKED ?  I'll do it for you.  It's because you like to make people think that you are legit.  :rotz:  Would you like to share with us all the problems I've found with other old customers of yours ?   :rotz:  I'm sure it's all their fault and they are just cheap and can't afford the work that you do.   :rotz:  And Jeff bought someones problem ?  Would you like to share with us ( that don't think for ourselves ) were this problem came from ?   :slap:  This stuff about God is too much.  :rotz:  True, in the end you will be judged by him.   :yesnod:  But until that day comes, you sir will be judged by us.   :yesnod:  And don't give us that crap about feeding your kids or taking money away from them. I could care less about your kids.  :rotz:  Your kids eat because of the money you take from people like Brian.  :yesnod:   I am going to do everything I can to make an example of you.  :yesnod:  This is going to be one mess you can't cover with fiberglass or bondo.   And since you are so smart, I'm going to leave it at that.  I have nothing more to say to you sir.   Thank you for your time and have a nice day.    Chuck...........

Not sticking up for BK but I know where he is coming from with the cheapskates, Only differerance is my cheapskates want to spend $10k on a rust bucket not $59k. All I know is for $59k  for just rolling chasis I could of & would of done a show job.  How does BK explain it getting fixed with a much better quality job for much less money & why couldn't BK done the same :shruggy:

kevink70

Hey guys,I'm new here and I just found this posting in Freiburger's junkyard. All I have to say is,WOW!! Anybody who puts that kind of work out there should be shot!! That is some terrible work, and for that Bk guy to try and justify the cost of that kind of work is just WRONG!!! Reading this post from the begining just left me shaking my head. Now i restore cars for a living, been doing it for quite a while now and I would never put work out like that. As far as doing what the customer wants only goes so far,my name is on that car and I'll be damn sure to make sure it is done right,if they dont like it then there are other hack shops out there that can do the work not me. Seeing how this car was done is actually kind of funny,we had a 70 Cuda in the shop done out in Texas by a "E-body" specialist, and I had to redo all the work on the car he did and then some. Its a shame that there is guys out there that pull stuff like this and give us resto guys a bad name. Hop on over to our website and check out our work,I'm currently doing a 71 Challenger convertible that was a mess. Well Jb at least you have a good guy workin on your car now and the progress looks great! And man is he givin you the hook up!

And I about fell out of my chair when I seen those welds on the shifter :smilielol:
