Well, I just got back...

To sum it up quickly, I'd like to say two simple words... HOLY S**T!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is all.. I'm attempting to upload a video now, and some pictures.. But this is more power than I could imagine having (or using) on the street. And the SOUND?? WOW...  :drool5:

Here's a quick 20MPH roll...

The car is insane.. This was only around 4lbs of boost. When Jon finallly got to open it up a bit more it almost put me through my seat into the back.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9WcO3xfE_HI

here's a quick blip rolling from 30-60MPH in about 1.5 seconds.

it was the best I could do today.. I was using a small windshield suction mount device with my IPhone to take short videos, and about 1/3 of the way home I RAN OUT OF SPACE on my Iphone.. So I was out of commission after that...

I feel your pain here dude, I bought a car from the people at Texas Toy Box, a 1968 318 XP29 Charger. The owner told me the car had 52k original miles and was rust (cancerous rust) and accident damage free. When I get the car out here (California) low and behold it has cancerous rust in the usual places and has evidence of being hit in the right front corner. There skillful pictures of the car showed none of the issues. They also said the car drove straight but when you apply the brakes it takes all your effort to keep the car straight. I will put the car right but I wouldn't have paid what I paid had the guy been honest with me. It's my fault, I trusted what the guy was saying on the phone and in the multitude of emails I sent. I also trusted the appraisal he sent which as it turns out, they printed off the internet, filled it out themselves and forged someone elses signiture on it. Anyway, good luck with your car, if you know anyone considering buying an old Mopar watch out of these guys.

Funny you'd say that.. Before my BK Adventure began, I was in contact with Texas Toy Box, until I did some research about them online... Guess that didn't do me a lot of good

jb666

I just posted over 200 pictures (5 different albums) on my Facebook page...

WAY too much to upload to PhotoBucket and post links.. FB makes it SO easy...

But here's a taste of each location...

Overall, it was a great day... Overcast skies, nice color on the trees/ground, good company and a day that I'll remember as it's snowing for the next 5 months...

Awesome. Love the pics too. I'm beginning to think my Challenger came from one of those places. It was a Texas car.  :scratchchin:

My car came from Texas, but lives in Mass now... The car went away for the winter after today's ride..

Funny, but I just made that my new profile pic on FB.. It's by far my favorite shot of the day. It looks so natural parked there... Brings me back to 1979!!

To all you guys who have read this watch out for the guys at Texas Toy Box as well. Don't believe a word they tell you, if you are considering buying a car from them, go in person to look at it, otherwise stay far away from them.

Well, to anyone wondering, someone I know was at the Houston Autorama this weekend. He had a chance to see (and chat with) Thomas from BK who was there proudly displaying some of BK's "work".

So yes, to anyone who's asked, BK still exists. I just hope any of their "future customers" have the sense to look online before handing out any $$.

 it must be the bondo fumes that keeps him going. I would have thought with what had happen with Jeff's issue and them, something would have happen.
